HELP..BEEEP and tap tap upon opening the door..
 

A NEW issue. Unlocked the car with the key fob and a low volume shrill continual beep inside the car coming from the little plastic speaker below the steering wheel. Along with a weird tap,tap,tap.. , Turn the car off, lock with fob and it continued for several minutes. Now it's off. Opened up again, not noise.
WTF is this ? Another genius BMW electrical system design.
What do I have to fix now?

Test the vehicle battery to confirm it is NOT going dead.
Quick test
Battery at rest> 12.5 + Volts?
Running Alt volt test> Voltage over 13.8 Volts (14.1+ perfect score) with most accessories off?
