New Set of Continental DW

Add me to the list of bad alignment victims. I installed Continental DWS about 2 years ago. I really can't complain because they have been great tires. However on my last road trip to Florida I burned through the inner side of the rear tires. After some inspection I found bad suspension components. I had the front suspension completely rebuilt. It had a couple of bad components so I just decided to replace them all. I bought the 10 Piece Front Suspension Rebuild Kit from FCPEuro.

The rear is still in spec but I will rebuild that later this year. Anyway, new rubber today. I decided to go with the Continental DW this time. It's supposed to be better than the DWS in dry and (especially) wet weather. It can't handle any snow but I should be ok 98% of the time in Texas. Let me tell you, the tires look so aggressive. We'll see how it handles after the alignment tomorrow morning.

I've been on DW's for about a month now on my Z. OMG!!!! These tires are absolutely awesome!! I can't believe the wet performance. These tires perform better in the wet than my hankooks did on the dry!

Best wet tire ever!!!

They look awesome. I've only driven them for a few miles. Tomorrow morning I go for the alignment. After that I will check them out. So far, much quieter and the steering is more responsive.

I got Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 in all my 3 cars- X5, E92 and E39. Amazing performance on wet roads and good on snow (not very heavy snow). They also look great- gives my moded E92 an added aggressive look!

I need new tires soon. my fronts have approx 50k miles, rears are right about 40k miles. not bad mileage out of a set of DWS.

i keep getting rear camber wear on the inside on the rears. i might have to look at a suspension refresh also.

im refurbing a set of rears. hoping to go 315 all around next tire replacement. i priced out the tires at about 1200...

Good looking tires... Might have to give them a go next time around...
