ebay brand - purchased for $25. had a funny "feeling" from the start. started sticking within a couple months, completely broke after 4 months.

OEM - purchased for $120 on ebay. butter smooth.

Bought one on ebay (polish), not happy with it at all. The cable was too short which i had to fix and now it squeaks every time I open the door. The other 3 are oem and of course very good.

I have experience with OE, FEBI which is marked Made in Germany, and SWAG, which is a repackaged FEBI.

They all break, and break often.

URO mechanical parts are risky/no good. The only URO part that I would recommend is the aluminum water pump pulley and aluminum power steering pulley that can replace the O.E. Plastic pulleys.

I replaced both front carriers with URO ones about a year and half ago. So far so good. They were purchased from Autohaus. I remember having a little trouble getting the outer handle to line up correctly. I was able to get alignment close by leaving the one hex bolt lose and actuating the handle several times, before tightening everything up.

I purchased one from Ebay, was a tight fit with the cable, but was good for a few weeks.
The cable then frayed at the little ball end and the door wouldn't open.
Bit the bullet and bought one from BMW, no problems in over a year now.

I also didn't want to pay so much for a BMW one, took a chance, but ending up paying twice.

Wish I had have bought genuine the first time.
