AUX Cable/CD53
New here, I have a 2002 3.0 with NO DSP/NAV
I have researched high and low for the answer to my question and I hope I am not reviving an age old thread with this. I know I cannot plug the oem aux cable into the back of my CD player because it it is the CD53 with software 40, it was made early 02', and my MID does not have the mode button. My question is, can I get the CD player out of an '05 with software 47, and use the oem aux cable to get it to work? Or do I also need to find the '05 MID as well? And then do I need to change things in the harness? My MID has the "mode" option, it is just not the newer button type. Thank you for any help! Mine is software 42! which is the software that does not work |
