Help! stalling out
 

EDIT: FIXED. INTAKE HOSE CAME LOOSE


Hi guys,

I have an 02 X5 3.0. The car stalls out as soon as I turn it on. The RPM's bounce a little and then the car completely dies out, the DSC light comes on and gives me a "engine failsafe prog"

I pulled the following codes:

E3 Fuel trim bank 1, permissible range exceeded

E4 Fuel trim bank 2, permissible range exceeded

D3 Idle-speed control valve, mechanical fault

EE misfire, Cylinder 1
F2 misfire, Cylinder 5
F0 misfire, Cylinder 3
F3 misfire, Cylinder 6
EF misfire, Cylinder 2
F1 misfire, Cylinder 4

08 Signal, air-mass flow sensor

91 CAN torque reduction

Any help would be appreciated :)

Sounds like an air mass sensor failureand codes seem to point at it too.

Pull the plug on the MAF and see if the car runs different. If it does, more evidence it's the MAF.

Something with air system.....
