Hello All i Have An Engine Light On And When I Got It Read It Said Catalytic Converter Bank 1.. Does Anyone Know Whice Cat That Is That Need To Be Replaced?

Why replace...throw them away... will get more hp and great sound inside car! Or sell them...good money!

It is only for petrol cars...I have diesel and I can pass every year emission control!

There is a bad cat code. Catalyst inefficient or something of that nature. There's a few tricks to get around it, or just replace it.

Bank one is the side where cylinder one is. Right side.

gato that is true north american law we have emission so i cant cut them out lol... and i do have a 4.4 .. but thanks helihover i was think bank 1 was cylinder 1- 4 but i called some place yesterday that have used parts and the guy was like whice ones you need the front or the ones behind

and tecn1k the computer i used just tell you what is wrong does not give you codes the computer just told me catalytic converter bank 1

That shop looks like has everything! I think that shop is not the cheapest...Why u do not use ebay or google to find something

i do but ebay is not the best choice because of shipping they charge alot .. i use to go to ECS Tuning but now snice the canadian dollar is so low i dont really order anything there anymore.. i try to look around here now but not many canadian sites that sell bmw parts :(

This is h-pipe! U need to find just good pipes and stick them together melding or what..do not remember that word :D it will be cheap...u can cut off pipes from old bmw x5 and that is it

i see very nice .. do you have the link to the hpipe picture you sent me from that site beaucse i can`t find it there i can only find xpipe on there lol just to see how much that one is

well i was already quoted but 2 Shops i asked 1 shop said $500 to $650.. another place told me $450 for the H-pipe so thats why i wanted to see if i find the hpipe all they really gotta do is labor and whatever extra pipe the need to add to the hpipe

that does not fit for the E53.. it say it is for M3 and M4
