My headliner is peeling back from the joint on the two panels. Thinking of stretching it and gluing it down. What kind of glue won't eat the foam?

Yeah just get an Upholstery shop to redo your headliner. The foam as most certainly entered its final stages of deterioration with the presence of water. I just had mine in my X5 re-done in Suede and its looks awesome high-end. So glad I had this done.

I use 3m spary glue on head liners.....they have a 70 and 90..90 is the strongest. works great and I think is what the pros use.

Headliners are surprisingly cheap and the shops that do this are super fast. Ask around your area for an auto upholster and you'll be happy again. Deduct cost from wife's bday gift.
