Disapointed in EBC

Historically I have had wonderful success with EBC products. I've ran the Yellows on my truck a couple times, Reds on both my 740's, Reds on both of our Touaregs as well.
This time however Reds on the X are NASTY. They are listed as the lowest dust pad they have for this application and yet I can't even get 200 miles before the wheels are covered again.

Now don't get me wrong, as brakes go they perform perfectly. Stop great, no noise (I'm deaf so) but, the dust this time around is horrible.

I've pulled the Reds off the rear and installed Akebono and the dust is gone.

Looking for something good for the fronts so here I am.

Suggestions? Thanks all.

I realize that was more of a bitching post than anything. Forgive me.

Wagner Thermoquiet.
those will be my next pads (maybe in a few weeks if these damn Cool Carbons dont start behaving better and less loud at slow speeds)

I have the Reds on my X as well as EBC Rotors and they have minimal dust compared to OEM. Could be possible you got a bad set or the bed in layer is just really bad. I run the Reds in four vehicles; E36, E31, E64, and E53. They're a little dusty for the first couple hundred miles but once they reach past that break in point and I bed them in they're good to go. Maybe contact their customer support and see if they can help you out.

I've reached out to them with my concerns. I picked EBC due to my success with them n the past. Hec I think I have 5 cars with EBC pads currently.

I'll report back later on this.
Thanks guys.

I have EBC red pads on both our BMWs. Most recent replacement was about 6-8 months ago. Same low dust as all in the past.

I have reds on my rear, and axis/pbr deluxe in the front. Both on new OE rotors. Installed reds few weeks after the fronts. Just sort of didn't feel like doing it all one shot. So yea, the PBR/Axis ones are much less dust, and the reds are sort of pissing me off right now. They are still squealing a few weeks after install. They squeal on light braking only, heavy braking they are fine. City traffic, means I'm squealing like some cheap shit box for long periods of time. Not liking them at this point.
