Product date on NGK spark plugs

I'm trying to order a set of NGK iridium spark plugs and most don't show product dates and ones that do says June 2014. Would this be too old and does the product date matter unless it's way too past?

Do you mean date as in manufactured date? They don't go bad if they are sitting in a box

They stay fresher if you keep them in a controlled humidity environment like a Humidor.
