Asking for punsihment

Ok so....I have come across a high mileage 190k 4.8is....should I e en tonight this car? What should I look for. My silver 4.8is has 93k...oil leaks and stuff like that are common, we all know. Should I walk away from this or take on the punishment :)

Thanks for the input

No, looking at your stable, you need an E39.

I tend to agree with this assessment.

Quite a nice collection you have gathered there. Really jealous of the henna e30 M3. I'm sure that is turning into quite the investment for you.

He used to have a Dinan E39 M5. Sterling Gray to be exact. I was interested in it a while back.
KDAWG97M3, take the punishment :D, depend on the price though.

Why do you want another 4.8is is almost 100K miles than what you have. Just fix your ride up proper and be happy with it. The 190K unit is going to need to have a lot of parts changed if they have already not been changed.

Looking like 5000. Is that too much. I offered 4000

Sometimes higher mileage is a good thing. Why? Because higher mileage could be an indicator of highway miles compared to a lower mileage vehicle which has seen a lot of city use. Not a hard and fast rule but something to keep in mind.

It sounds like you are the kind of guy that is comfortable pulling an engine or dropping a transmission yourself. I say bring it on if that is you.

Made my offer....lets see if they take it!
