Rear Spring Removal Tips

Hey all, I finally bit the bullet and bought some Eibach springs for the X. The install on the front was a breeze. I'll be doing the rears tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any tips/shortcuts. BMW TIS says I'll have to remove the rear shocks, control arms, integral links, and drop the swing arms. Has anyone done this before? Thanks in advance!

Damn dude you wasted no time at all.

One guy on here used a chain as a spring compressor and then dropped the arm down. It was a little ghetto. I'll see if I can find the thread. Other than that I don't have any helpful info.

haha, I was going to wait until the weekend but I couldn't resist the urge to go install them. I have a spring compressor that might fit, I'll have to find out. Ideally I could just use that and not have to remove anything on the rear suspension.
