Hello all--

I'm in Southern California and there's an e53 in the SF bay area that's really caught my attention. Was hoping that someone here would be able to help me out and check out the car before I make the 7 hour drive (or drop the $$ on a plane ticket).

Have the owner take it to a shop you find that will do a PROPER PPI and provide you the report. You pay for the inspection and then you fly up.

I agree, perhaps he's just looking for someone that can do a quick look for basic stuff before paying the PPI. You know like the oil leak, engine is not making strange noise, make sure the picture posted is not from 5 years ago :D

Could be. Anyone interested in providing free auto inspection/insight/observation services to an unknown party in So CA who live in San Fran? .....crickets.....:D

Apparently you have never been to NorCal before.
It only takes 5 hours and less than a tank of gas.
