Wallet Key?
 

After all these years I finally misplaced my Wallet Key…..:(

#1 How much is a replacement from BMW. :dunno:

#2 Can AAA make one? :dunno:

I bought one from BMW about a year ago and it was about $60.00, dont thing anyone else can make them.

I believe the plastic key is called the "spare key" with part number 51218213932. $40-$60 probably, if you can find it.

I also think it has the EWS chip in it to make it fully functional, although being made of plastic it would wear out more quickly than steel.

Even if AAA could cut you a copy, it would not be able to start the ignition since it would not have the EWS chip.

Local BMW dealer want's $100.00

Price check it with several bmw dealerships that have online psrts...print out and ask your local BMW parts dept if they can match.

As stated sbove...look up the correct nbr using your VIN...then type ''BMW XX XX X XXX XXX"into a google search box. I'm sure several BMW dealerships should turn up in the results.
