BMW SAV Items for Sale - Xoutpost.com

I'd suggest that people on the forum already have an X5, and there won't be very much response to a posting of a car For Sale. I could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.

Not knowing where you are posting from -- which country -- I'd suggest you would get far more traffic from a site like Craig's List (free postings) or AutoTrader (fee based posting) -- there are many others. The idea is that visitors to those sites are actively looking for a car to buy, whereas visitors to the classifieds on the forum are looking for car parts that fit a car they already own. For example, I need a tow hitch for my X5 so I would look to the classifieds to see if anybody is selling one.

The more exposure the better. There are plenty of lurkers that don't post looking for X5s, this is a great place to find an enthusiast owned example. There are also members that look to add to the stable or replace, especially with an iS. I know I looked for a few months on here for my X5.

Ok thanks guys I will post it here and see what happens I am also posting on the BMWCCA site as well as Autotrader and Cars.com

For what it's worth, I just sold a 2008 X5. I had it advertised here, on Craigslist, on Autotrader and BMWCCA. It was for sale for about 6 weeks. The only responses were from Craigslist. Same ad, same pics, same details, same price. Perhaps cars.com is better, but I was pretty disappointed with autotrader (had used several years ago successfully).
