Your going to "dumping money" on either repairs or a loan. Either way it is $$ out of your pocket. Rule of thumb is always an easy answer: Do the repairs bills exceed the annual loan payments of the replacement?" If you are paying cash for the replacement the rule still applies will the cost of lost investment funds (not much with today's interest rates) exceed repairs?
There is no ROI formula for I want a new car syndrome.
In regards to the interior, let it go with the vehicle as the next and final owner may enjoy the contrast.

Leave it as-is and either keep the car or sell it as a factory-complete package.
(Personally, the full red leather is not my cuppa tea, but a two-tone combo, ie. red inserts with contrasting bolsters....now you're talking my language!).
