Reactivate rear supension
I bought a X5 4.4 that had been sitting for awhile and the rear suspension is sagging. Before it sat I was told that the suspension was fine. Does anyone know a way to reactivate the air pump without using the BMW INP software? Mine software is on the the frits.

The system will distinguish between a "drive" and "load" state. So even if you are parked and the vehicle is loaded with heavy weight...the system will raise the rear end when the ignition is turned on to "compensate" in preparation for correct level in the "drive" state. And again, you didn't mention anything as to if you started the vehicle to see if the compressor would activate...so I thought I'd ask just to clarify. :) |
When I turn on the key at first I hear the compressor go on for a second or two and that is it.
