driver door wont latch closed.
 

Hello all,
Yesterday I parked the X and closed the door, however it didn't latch???
I checked the latch mechanism and it seemed ok (used the key to simulate the latch and it closed and held in place) then I operated the door handle, to release the latch and again try to close/latch the door. it just bounced off the frame. I would understand if it was cold etc, but its July, and hot!
after repeated closings of increasing vigor, it finally did latch. I ALWAYS am quite careful in closing the doors, as I have seen what happens when you slam the door (and the window drops and shatters!!)!ouch:I know just how weak the clips can be!!! I loaded it up with silicone lube spray once I got home, but it was quite frustrating!! anyone else have this problem? and am I looking at a replacement? or is a repair possible? it seems to be acting up sporadically, its NEVER done this before!
