What is the condition of your battery? A bad battery can cause all manner of odd faults, as well as the more obvious starting issues.

The battery is new

That doesn't mean much - it's the charge state of the battery that matters. A faulty charging system system will render a brand new battery useless (as in flat) in about 10-20 minutes of running.

As it won't start/run, it'll be hard to diagnose the charging system, but a good place to start is looking at the battery voltage, both with the car off (no key in the ignition) and then with the key set to the run position. This will give you some idea of the state of the battery and if you are chasing a charging system fault or something else.

If the battery reads much below 12v on either test, try giving it a good overnight charge, then check again. 12.6v is a fully charged battery but you might only see 12.2-12.4v with doors open etc. and it might drop to 12v with the ket set to the run position.

I'm assuming the battery was replaced as the old one went flat and wouldn't charge? Again, this could point to a charging system issue.

Good luck! ;)

You need to determine if you have spark when the engine is cranking and if the fuel pump is running when the engine is cranking. If you can't determine this by yourself you need to have it towed to a mechanic.
