Hey Fellas.....

I'm looking for some help......

Any one have a picture of their X5 with spacers?

I was wondering what my X5 would look like if I added some spacers to the rear.

I have a bone stock 2004 3.0 X5.

My rims are 132's.

My tires are 255 50 19 in FRONT

and 275 45 19 in the REAR.

Please post a picture of your set up if you have rims and tires like mine, I'm curious what 25mm or 30mm spacers would look like.

I'm happy with the fittment of the fronts....... wheel wells are filled out enough to not be curious to make any changes.....

I would like to see if I can fill out that Rear Wheel well a bit more with a spacer, so if you have a similar set up as mine WITH a 25mm or 30mm SPACER..... I would really appreciate a picture so I can get a general idea of the look.

These are 19 inch rims......

9's in the front

10's in the rear.

We are looking to do the same thing, I have style 63's though.

Going to do just the rears as well, and looking forward to see which looks best.

I'll chime in one thing....for anyone who tends to change wheels often or remove them.

Spacers are just a sm1gen more annoying @ times when putting the wheel on. Heavy ass wheels, then when you get it on the smaller flange, spacer sometimes shifts so it's not lined up, so you're not only juggling a heavy wheel.

IME, it's above for me, and I have a hairs breath between ID of wheel and my BBK, and then holding this on the flange while rotating the damm spacer back so it's all aligned to get a bolt in.


Hard to explain until you're doing it....but there is a noticeable difference IME with what depth/meat you get putting the wheel on a OE flange and the lesser depth/meat you get when you have a spacer

I've got wheel hangers. Can't recall why, but it doesn't help in my application

I've been scrolling through other Spacers threads and there are some GREAT looking X's..... but all different wheels sizes and types combo's etc etc etc.

I'm looking for pictures as close to what I have as possible, to get a GOOD idea.....

We'll see if these guys step up!

Jsoto....... not me.... one and done..... only gonna swap when I need new tires or there is an issue....

if you are going to do spacers, I'd suggest 25mm H&R DRA spacers because these bolt to your hub then your wheel bolts to 5 new holes in this spacer, so no fiddling with a loose spacer.
I've had nothing but problems with spacers that you do not bolt onto your hub first (ie: anything smaller than a 25mm). small wobbles basically, but I KNOW Its not supposed to operate that way, so I remove the 15mm spacers and enjoy a smoother ride and deal with wheels being a BIT inset.

I run the 25mm H&R DRA spacers on my 18x8.5" 35mm offset rear wheels and they are the most perfect fitment for my 4.4 wheel flares. I have posted pics last winter showing.
