trans failsafe with trifecta help

a couple of weeks ago i got the abs light, red brake light, 4x4 and tire pressure light come on so i assumed it was a wheel sensor and kept on moving then i got the trans failsafe message and the car was driving fine but with a shudder when coming to a stop. so i took the car to get the codes scanned and cleared but they came back on as soon as i turned the car on. the shop says they want $100 to check everything out to let me know whats going on

they scanned it with an autel maxisys and the codes were

ABS-DCS DXC8 dynamic stability control
airbag-MRS multiple restraint system IV (probably for the passenger seat)
IKE instrument-cluster electronics
EWS vehicle immobilizer
VTG transfer case

i just wanna try to get an idea on whats going on so the shop doesn't try anything funny with me

These are modules and not errors.

Did they provide you a print-out of diagnostics?

I should have said that there were faults in each module. no print out because I was there just to get the codes cleared and I took a picture before it was cleared

More than likely its the ABS module. Do some more research and you will find that this is a very common failure item on the X5s. Its good that you checked the wheels sensors but beyond that its normally the ABS module.

Somebody said in here one day that there was a way yo test the module. Can't seem to find it again. Somebody also said the unplugged theirs and everything was ok. Didn't seem right, but tried it and there was no difference. Guess the system says no ABS is the same as a faulty ABS. Which sucks because I'm having the same issue with 2 additions. 1 the A/C won't work unless I would be on the interstate and it the ABS had time to cool down. Then the gauges would come back on (tach, temp) and A/C would blow cold again.
2. This is the weird one. My battery died in my key so just used it to manually lock and unlock the doors. No biggie till just before this happened (week or 2) the car wouldn't let me lock her. Of sure if it is related or not, but weird. I'll be watching this post to see if there anything new before I have to dish out 500 for a new one.
