Camber Question
Gents,
I'm sure those of us that have an X5 know of the lovely rear tires being slanted and hence tire wear. I want to fix this issue, and instead of me Google searching the hell out of my computer, has anyone installed Cambers to fix the issue? Where did you find the Cambers and are they already adjusted so that I can just install?:dunno: |

I'd give you some of my extra camber if I could lol.
Bring it to the alignment shop and have them adjust it as mentioned by tmv. If the shop says they cant adjust it anymore, it means you have worn suspension parts. Usually the upper arms of the rear suspension. Replace worn parts and try adjusting again. |
I just ask my alignment guy to set it as the "tire saver" setting.
Like was posted above, he takes the camber to as upright as possible, and adjusts the toe to pretty square. |
I just had mine aligned myself & apparently the spring on the rear driver side isn't sitting right up top so it's affecting the camber. gotta get under there & see exactly what's wrong but I don't have a spring compressor so this is a job I can't do.
but how much better does it feel now!? |
