Spot cleaning products?
 

What do you guys/girls use to clean off spots on your X5? To be more specific: Like when you get home from the car wash and they missed drying some water and lines streak down your door. (I'm in NJ, so the car wash is the only option in the winter). Perhaps some water or mud splashing marks on the body behind the tires? The ultimate mess to clean might be some bird having "Bud mud" on your hood. You know what I mean.
Are you spraying some all purpose cleaner or something? Is there a specific car care product to spray and rub off with a soft cloth? Would something like 409 All Purpose be harmful?
Also, for some reason, the trunk and back window get so dirty before the rest of it does. That might take a lot of spraying.

i actually would use this as my cleaner period.

Nothing fancy, just Windex and a micro fiber towell.

Final inspection. http://www.utahsafe.com/Meguiars.html Used at many car shows. And yes it gets off bird droppings. Spray it on let it set for a few and off it comes right now. It's a liquid wax that is used when your done waxing your X. Does a beautiful job of removing hand prints water marks ect.

quick wet sponge, then shamois, then some meguiars quick spray on detailing spray.... nothing too special or extravagant.
