Any shop in So Cal that can install Eonon GA5166F?
 

My name is Josh, and I live in Temecula, CA. I have a 2005 X5 4.8is with both NAV and DSP. I was wondering if anyone knows of a shop that can install an Eonon GA5166F with a camera in this car? Or, if there is someone on here that feels they can do it, please let me know. Thank you very much.

Best bet, contact a local BMW dealer and ask where they send loyal BMW owners for non-OE BMW audio install work.

My ex-brother in-law works for BMW (Sr Master Tech at a facility that repairs severely damaged BMWs). They have seen a few "hack audio install" late model BMWs, some needing big time harness replacement, repair bills hover in the $7000 range.

Installation of that unit is a DIY system. You will spend way more in installation (at audio shop or off path audio installer) then what you paid for the unit and at the end of day its going to a crap shoot with the execution. Just like Crystalworks said.

They give you step by step instructions right there on the page in the website.

Okay thats not the problem wait till you get to the debugging/troubleshooting of the system installation.
