MID Wiring Diagram
 

Does anyone have a MID wiring diagram? When I purchased my 4.6is it already had an aftermarket stereo installed. I like the unit better than stock because it has touchscreen, DVD, Bluetooth, back up camera,etc., however, I am unable to reset my mpg, trip computer,etc. I purchased a MID after reading several posts and was planning on extending the wiring and installing it in the glove box. When I pulled the head unit I realized the car stereo installer cut the plugs off of every wiring harness. What I have is a bunch of wires with no plugs that looks like spaghetti! Any advice? I was hoping someone may have a wiring diagram.

The MID unit (A103) has a 12-pin connector called X10119. Connector configuration is...

I have seen the connector for sale somewhere - might have been ECS - will check for you.

P.S. - the installer that cut the looms should be shot with a ball of his own sh.... :rolleyes:
