Air compressor replacement
 

Hi all! As the compressor of my air suspension is going bad and pops up error message in the cluster periodically, I am planning to replace the air pump. According to the repair instruction, I need to vent the system with DIS and drain the system before replacing the pump. For draining the system, do I have to go down to the bottom of the car to drain the air? Can I just remove the pump after venting the system? Thanks for help!

Have you tried the repair kit first? Might be enough and a lot cheaper....

Sent you a PM Roger - I just unbolted and unplugged mine and replaced it

Just a quick update here, I bought a new oem pump at USD700 and replaced it. It was a very easy job, no need t raise the car and no need to empty the system, just unplugged and plugged it. That's all. Now my car works brilliant! Of course, you need DIS system to clear the fault code after the job.
