BMW DIS

I want to reset my "SELF LEVEL SUSP INACT." code message now I have replaced the airbags.

I beleive I need DIS to do this since its not in the main module. I think i just need the DIS software:

BMW Mini DIS V44, V57, SSS V54 & TIS V8 GT1 INPA EDIABAS DIAGNOSTIC! Win 7 8 10 | eBay

And this DSI INPA USB cable:

For BMW INPA / Ediabas K+DCAN USB Interface Diagnostic OBD Test Line Scanner DIS | eBay

Right???

Short answer: yes

Long answer: yes BUT why don't you just get the cds+cable from one seller...that way you can deal with one person if encountering issues with pairing the cable to laptop/software. It's always good to have this program on cd, as backup.

cuz its cheaper - you can get the cable for $14 from China. If it doesn't work they refund you. The software either works or it doesnt as well.

I hear what you are saying tho.

I thought this stuff used to be really expensive?? When did it get cheap?

Dont be a cheapskate over $30 - I bought my setup with software and cable from the Romanian dude, it fired right up after installing and has worked flawless for years

who is this Romanian dude?

I highly recommend getting the software and cable from BMW DCAN OBD USB Diagnostic Fault Code Cable - This Lead allows full Coding Programming and Diagnostics for your BMW D-CAN for around $45.

They have an installer that will setup everything for you automatically -DIS, INPA, SSS. You will start using it right away- no fiddling around with registry settings, editing paths etc. They also have ISTA/D and ISTA/P (replaces DIS and SSS) currently used by the stealerships.

Can't we use any version of DIS since our cars are so old?
