Price Value for a 2002 BMW X5 4.4i
I just got an offer from my car broker that a someone wants to buy my X5 for $28,500...
It is a 2002 4.4i 27K Miles Black with Tan Interior Sport Package Navigation Multi Compact Disc Premium Sound Parking Sensors Moon Roof Privacy Glass Should I take it? |
I'd check Edmunds & KBB - off the top of my head, that price seems way too low to me. Were you approached out of the blue are were you looking to sell?
|
no way you should get more.
|
Seems a tad low to me, but we are in different markets.
|
Well I was looking to trade it in. I think it is a little low for all it has but they wouldn’t go any higher for it and to trade it in, I am getting around that same price or lower in some cases.
|
Too low, you're always better off selling it yourself.

Well that price was what they offered directly, they came back at first with $27,500 and then they went up to $28,500. |
Sell it your self or Ebay it. Someone here might buy it or somone at e46fanatics might.

Hey congrats! You're just like me!
I've been appraising my car at two dealerships, and I'm getting peanuts, too. Mine's worse that yours, and fetching simply funny numbers. 2002 X5 4.4i 90000KM (56000 Miles) Activity Package (Ski Bag, Sunshades, On-Board Computer, Privacy Glass) Lumbar Support Front+Rear PDC Sunroof Titanium Silver Outside Grey Leather Inside Dark Wood Inside This car was bought for around $53000 15 months ago. Today they are offering me $27000 and $28000. Hillarious - this car obviously hasn't dropped 50% in its value. The prices above are in Canadian bucks. |
wow i have 80,000 miles and that's the same value i am getting for my car...that's definitely too low
