air horn troubles

my stock horns died on my so i ordered an air horn kit from amazon and it worked for a few presses on the horn then just stopped. so i got a new one from amazon and still nothing. i tried a new compressor, new in-line fuse, new relay, basically everything except for the wires itself. i also check the horn relay behind the fuse box and still nothing. i can hear a click coming from the glove box and the relay i installed when the horn is pressed so im assuming its getting power? im sure its something stupid im missing but im stumped

With the second air horn did you change the relay that came with the second air horn? you should be able to check the signal to the relay by activating the horn at the steering wheel. If this signal is not getting to the relay then the airhorn is not gonna work. There is probably a BMW horn really somewhere on the vehicle. The bently manual may be able to tell you of its location.

Have you tested the air horn with a 12 volts power supply? Have. You tested the wires for the original horns?

I ended up removing everything and installing it back and now it works. I'm assuming that the ground was probably bad

There you go easy Fix. By the way what brand and model Airhorn did you go with? Whats the tone of the horn like?

the brand was "zento deals" but it was basically a single trumpet air horn rated at 150db. I'm almost positive that everyone that uses the same picture is the same item no matter what brand. the tone is low almost like a boat horn. I'll try to make a video and post it for everyone
