Easiest seat heat repair EVER

I have been studying how to troubleshoot the rear seat heater.
It looks complicated.
I lifted up the rear seat and found the electrical socket disconnected.
Quick snap together, and waa-laa, works perfect!

Reminds me of my old 1995 750il. The heated seats in the rear didn't work, nor did the rear cigarette lighter. Lo and behold, the fuses for those were missing or blown. I replaced the fuses and everything worked perfectly. The fuses never blew afterwards so I dunno why they blew in the first place.

My first X5 had dash annunciation of rear air suspension dead.
I really didn't study what that meant before I bought it.

Found a blown 30 amp fuse, replaced, worked perfect ever since.

Who said BMW was hard or expensive to work on.....

My Range Rover always liked to proclaim "air suspension inactive," along with the ABS-Brake-Traction trifecta every time you jacked it up to work on it. Normally this is the most terrifying thing a Range Rover owner can see, but in most cases just driving for a few hundred feet fixes the problem. Gotta love cars with little quirks like that.
