suspension inactive

So far I have gotten two suspension inactive months apart. Last time was two nights... I have connected the inpa to the car and scanned the entire system, and I had no fault codes, and the height seems to spec. All of the sensors are reading good, and there is no obvious sing or noises coming from the X5. (FYI its a one axle suspension only.) Had anyone had this happen? What were the outcome?

The battery is fully charge as I charge them once a month in all my vehicles. Trips to work are usually 15-20 min drive. :dunno:

Thanks in advance

If you have had the rear wheels off the ground, sometimes the lever(s) that registers the height will turn the wrong direction when the vehicle is lowered. Doesn't sound like that is the case since it went away on its own but worthwhile to verify they are in the correct position.

I have the some issues on my 4.8is, it's the sensor plugs, they loosen up after ten years and they will make and brake connect, best thing to do is remove and reinstall the sockets [4] but the socket housing brake and just replace them, socket housing 61138383300 and a little grease or wd-40 and make sure that the cable tie next to the sensor is in place ,it holds the cable in place so it won't pull on it or pull out.................be careful to have a lift in place, as soon as You pull out the sensor plug it is going to drop...

I haven't done any work on the X5 that I had to lift it. But it's a possibility.

Thanks for that. I will check the sockets to make sure they are in good working order.
