Low mileage examples will be going up regardless of market these days. Old models are getting desirable :)
I got a 4.8is in 2015 with 51,000 just under $20k. A bit high, but basically 1 of 2 sub 55k cars in CA at the time. |
A silver 06 4.8is with 85k miles 1 owner and pretty clean just sold for 14k in Chicago, so I'd say yours is worth easily 15k. I have my eye on an 06 black on black 2 owner with around 89k miles for 11k gonna go take a look tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! High teens would be nice, but would anyone have a lead on an OEM tow package by chance?
This may be the best route considering it will only be 4 or 5 weekends a year and we love the 4.8is otherwise! Eddie, seems you have a bead on a nice one! Congrats! |

FYI - there's an 2006 4.8is (le Mans blue) with only 51k miles on eBay right now, trying to get $20k. Looks clean just not a fan of that interior if I were to acquire it. |

Nope, but just purchased an Escalade since it will be used for a tow vehicle, so my 60K mile Imola Red 4.8is will be hitting the market in the next 2 week!
Thanks to everyone in this thread, I felt a little more comfortable that there was a decent market with how rare these models are so I appreciate everyone's feedback as it gave me the courage to get a tow rig. I love the 4.8 to death, but didn't feel the need to go all out to retro-fit our current vehicle when a stock escalade has a 8300 lb tow rating! Thanks XOUTPOST! |
