Interior Door Panels
Can anyone suggest a good bonding epoxy for the door panel clip holders on the BMW X5. I had to remove my door panel today to change out the door carrier handle and noticed that two of the clip mounts have come undone from the factory glue/bonding agent. Please provide suggestions on the type of epoxy to use if you have had a good experience with one. thanks

Gorilla Glue or a general purpose two part epoxy will do the trick.

I usually have good experience with JB Quik Weld (4 hour) if you have the time to let it cure the full 24 hours -
Also the black plastic portion on top of the inside door panel I hot glued back in place as it came loose - |
I've had to remove the door panels a few times for door handle carrier replacements. I've always used those 2-component epoxies and they've held up fine.

JB Weld is usually solid. I've used permatex black silicon in the past as well with good results. The key is letting it sit for a full 24hour cure time which ever method you go with.
