What pressure do you guys keep your tires at? I like the firm feeling so I keep it at 40 all around. I think the oem 32 is too low for the front also.

40 way too high imo. Ceters will wear faster than uniformly.
During the winter season I bump them up to 34.5 just to give it some room for those potholes.

agree 40 is too high. I run mine at 35.

Well 39 is oem for the rear according to them.

Only if fully loaded and travelling at up to 100mph. Regular use (one or two passengers and speeds like 60mph) the correct pressures are 32psi on all four.

Run-flat tire might require more - not sure.

Tire presssures are set for balanced handling. If you want to raise them at all, keep the delta between factory setting and increase by X psi. 32 front, 36 rear becomes 36 front 40 rear etc when raising by 4.

This is the same reason that Corvairs and VW Beetles got into trouble...

By that then it's 36 & 43. No way, for me at least.
