Fuel inject problem
 

Hi guys,I have a 2004 x5 3.0l d sport,occasionally fuel inject system comes up on the dash and the car goes into fail mode,the car runs fine I've checked the injectors and they seem fine,has anyone had this happen before?weird how it doesn't happen all the time. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

It could be a fuel pump that is on it's way out.

Have you hooked up a pressure gauge to the fuel rail?

Magistral fuel pump under driver seat...but if u drive right side...passenger seat! I had this message few times! I have my 3.0d chipped up! Turbo is boosting very powerfull and magistral pump can not pump so much fuel! There is a possibility to get more powerfull.
How much fuel did u have in a tank? About 20l or less? Usually it shows up at that level! I am still driving with original pump!
When I will swao turbo from fl e53 I will have to change it for more powerfull! U can get about 250-260hp from pre fl e53!
