Ac not blowing cold after head unit install(solved)

Recently my stock cd player stopped powering on for some reason so instead of replace or fix it I bought a jvc head unit and a wiring harness and install kit from ebay and hooked everything up.

The head unit works great and sounds good but now my blinkers dont make the clicking sound or show up in my gauge cluster and my a/c will not blow cold.

I hooked up the oem system and everything works again. Still no power to cd player.

All fuses are fine. All connections seem to be hooked up properly.
The belt is spinning when the ac is set to cold and everything seems like its running but no cold air.

It seems like to me something in the new wiring harness for the radio is blocking the ac cluster from telling the ac to blow cold.

Any idea what my problem could be?

My car is a 2003 X5 3.0l
The head unit is a JVC KDX200

Thank you

Bump...

Does the JVC unit hook up to the I/K bus for steering wheel audio control? Sound like something may be amiss there... try the JVC unit but leave the I/K bus connection off a test the A/C and signals.

The belt is alway spinning, even if the AC is not on. Most important thing to look at is the center of the ac pulley is that spinning? If it is not spinning that means the ac clutch is not engaged. There's your problem.

Check the radio wire harness and the hvac wire harness. I believe there are some connectors that will interchange. The radio will still power on and the hvac controls will not function properly.

Thanks guys for responding. You are all amazing but this comment helped the most.
For some reason I had the I/k bus wire connected to the "mute" wire coming from the radio wiring harness.
All I did was clip the wire and everything works great.

Glad it's sorted - I guess the "mute" control was muting the I/K bus! ;)
