Rear Tyres 4 X5 3.0 Sports

Can anyone recommend an alternative tyre to the Michelin's fitted to our 2004 X5 3.0 Sports?

We have Michelin Diamaris 285/45 R19 V

The tyre that my wife shredded in her country trip is out of stock for 4 weeks, and no one seems to carry it locally.............

A quick search at tirerack.com turns up these => http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...t=All&x=88&y=6

FYI...The Bridgestone Turanza ER30 is the other OEM tire that BMW uses on the X5.

I've heard good things about Toyo Proxes S/Ts... I think these are the tires I'm getting in the Spring.
(They're not sold at Tire Rack, but a lot of other places seem to carry them)

Thanks for the reminder about the Toyo. As a matter of fact, the Toyos will definitely be on my short list as well when I'm ready for my next set of tires. It will basically come down to either Pirelli, Toyo, and may be Kumho since these are the only All-Seasons available in this tire/wheel size combo because I don't want to swap/change tire/wheel for an occasional slope run.

If you have that size def go with the Scorpion Zero Assimetrico. Much improved over the previous Scorpion Zero design.
