Help with aux fan
 

HI guys
First time new owner here 2004 x5 4.4i
I need some help with aux fan call me crazy but my aux fan is on the inside of the engine bay not outside like most of them.... I want to get a new fan cause this one is not working...any input where to get one is apreciate it..

Need aftermarket one that fits inside the radiator I was looking at the TYC but installs outside instead. :dunno::dunno:

I don't think an "aux" fan on the inside is an OEM arrangement - has a PO modified the fan arrangement, replacing the main fan with an electric version?

Some 4.4i cars never had a front mounted aux fan assembly.

Got any info. about your fan failure? How does the failure manifest itself? Engine temp rise or A/C not working , errors codes etc.?

Standard fan for the year/engine. You need to replace it with another factory style fan as it works in conjunction with the ECU.
