tire question

Hey guys, returned my dws, decided to go the Michelin Pilot Super sport route..
Ordered 295/35/20 and 315/35/20. Does anyone have any experience with MPSS on the E53? What are your thoughts on the 295/35 fronts?

Why did you go with the SS? My understanding is you don't want to go past what was stock. You're putting a wider, bigger tire and it may affect your turning radius and worsen fuel economy.

I don't really care about fuel economy, and turning radius, I doubt it will be drastically affected by 20mm thread width difference.. the tires come stock on 21 inch rims on the x5m and x6m. And I figured tire tech came a long way in the past 15 years.. plus I have these on my e55 and they are the best "mod" I've done to that sled.

My worry is the 1.9% difference in the overall diameter front to back wheels.. from every source I'm getting that up to 3% difference is not a problem.. just want to confirm.

I didn't think PSS load ratings qualified on the E53s? Nevertheless, those are some expensive tires for the X!

The rears are 110y. That's over 2000lbs
Fronts might be a bit close, 101y. That's a bit over 1800lbs.. I think I'm safe..
