FCP Euro order - Chime in
Hi guys,
I'm about to order these items from FCP Euro to change my brakes. I got the dreaded check brake lining message yesterday. The rear rotor seems to be in good condition no lip or grooves so I'm just going swap pads. I know some preach to always change rotors with pads. But the rears seem to have life left. I was on the fence in regards to which pads to get cost wise but just ended up selecting the genuine BMW set. Please let me know otherwise. please let me know your thoughts on the selection. I'm trying to order before 2 pm, so they can ship today. Going with all OE parts will provide you exactly what you would experience when new. No downside other than the dust on the wheels from the pads chosen.
Good luck with the project |

Thanks pal. |
For being all Genuine BMW, that's actually pretty reasonably priced. My only recommendation would be Akebono pads, but that's a personal preference. You lose a little bit of that initial bite but you get much less brake dust. As somebody that's obsessed with detailing my cars, the decreased brake dust is totally worth it.

I have always used OE from the dealer. About $600 for front and rear pads, rotors and sensors.
