E53 newbie question on front cup holder slider

My cup holder slider is apparently broken... anybody can point me to the part number for just the slider replacement instead of the entire cup holder?

Part number is 51168402941 or 51168408026 but that is for the whole assembly - the sliding door is not available seperately (from BMW anyway).

I read it's very difficult to replace the cup holder

Probably more involved than difficult - and even if you could buy just the sliding door, you would most likely need to remove the entire cup holder to fit it.

Same issue on a Mk.V Golf - DAMHIK. :rolleyes:
