Any Vehicle Transport Recommendations?

So I have settled on my new acquisition, an '04 3.0 with the 6 speed manual. But I need to have it moved from one end of the country out here to Connecticut. Anyone with recent positive experience? Would like to deal with an actual transport company, and not some online broker.

Thanks!

I just bought a 2006 X5 4.4i and was going to have it shipped from Chicago. After doing some research and reading horror story after horror story about Car transport companies. I decided to just fly to Chicag and drive it home myself. Cheaper, better schedule and at least upfront no horror stories ! You can go to thje following website and look up any of the transport companies and check their reviews. https://www.transportreviews.com/

Actually, Montway.com are pretty good. I have used them several times to transport my 335i to and from Seattle/San Diego. I also used them to transport my BMW 528 E39 to/from Seattle-Houston. I recently used them to transport from Seattle to East Lyme in Connecticut. Prices are reasonable, they're quick and they use only the best transporters. You could get your vehicle transported the following day- they're that good.

And now I'm using them to transport my new to me 2015 X6M from Miami to Seattle. I trust them. Don't use their website, just call them directly.

Many a time it's cheaper to use a transporter - distance is key. It's cheaper to transport than drive, say, Seattle to Houston ($800) or Seattle to East Lyme Connecticut ($900), Seattle to San Diego ($600). That's the much I spent.

Had the same dilemea when i picked up mine, it was in AZ im in CO. Luckily my dad was a broker but for food and knew enough about what needed to happen. I found someone local that ran a route back to to CO and wasnt too bad. Uship has crap reviews and most carriers are hit and miss. Even my guy wasa few hours late for the drop. Really if you want it done right do it yourself. Otherwise try to find a local place that comes back to your state.

If you buy the gas and expenses, I can fly for free to get it and back home.
