Wiper Blade Replacement

Whoever designed the passenger side wiper arm and determined it's placement should be severely chastised! The arm on my '02 3.0 cannot be raised enough with the hood open or closed to easily get the old blade off and new blade on! I finally got it replaced though.....

Yes its a piece of crap design compared to other BMW wiper arm designs. Its like they built the car and decided after that it needs wiper blades and went to some other manufacturer's parts bin to complete. This is why I retrofitted the E70 wiper blade system and I can lift the arms, they stay in place and clean my vehilce with no interference. It also makes for an easy blade change when needed. There are plent of write-ups on the board using the E70 wiper blade system.

Good day!!

You could just do what I do... Turn on the ignition, hit the wiper lever and turn the ignition off just prior to the arm getting to home position... I'll stay where it is when you turn the ignition off...

Cheers!!!
