E53 looks great! And low miles too (as per your sig)

Is something going to be replacing it?

Skeletor 08-01-2017 05:53 PM

:iagree: What's going to be taking it's place???

It's going to be pretty hard to top that 4.8iS!

The reason we're selling it, is the lack of time to drive/enjoy it. There will be no replacement at this time. :(

Good luck with sale Tam. Definitely a unique truck and a very nice example.

Being on the forum so long means you see nice cars come and go :*(, this is one of them.

GLWS though.

It's also time for me to sell my X. It's been a fun SAV but it's time to move onto something that will be a bit more reliable.

What are you considering as replacements?

But I thought the 3.0 X5's are pretty reliable?

The family likes taking trips in the mom/wife soccer minivan, a Toyota Sienna XLE. The kids have their own row of seats so they are not sitting next to each another and punching one another. The ride is a lot smoother than the X and the gas mileage is 21 mpg in the city and the fact that it doesn't need premium gas makes the cost of trips a lot less.

I have my two Lotus and the G35 and the Porsche for myself. Sold the boat and jetski so won't be needing a tow vehicle, which was all the X5 did.

I will be looking for a nice PORSCHE Cayenne.

Wow. The Outpost loses another longtime member.

I remember when you sold your 3.0 and got this one, and now you are letting it go. How time flies!

GLWS!

Cayennes are a fun truck. I considered a first gen turbo for a kick around vehicle, they are pretty bulletproof and fairly simple to DIY, does take some man hours though.
