Hi
I had the drain for a year.
checked every thing without and luck.
For some reason i unplug the aux heater and no more drain.

Aux heater? Under the console back seat heater? There is a hedgehog I believe for the rear blower also and I suspect might fail the same way. When you say unplug you mean the fuse?

Hi
it is the heater thing under the hood.
Its a wabasto or something like that

Yes, it's a diesel thing - the 3.0d cars have a Webasto ThermoTop- Z auxiliary heater.

They are known to develop a fault that can cause parasitic drain, although it's not that common.

That is one. The other is the telematic unit. You have to completely disconnect it from power so it "resets" and it will stop doing it. Or you can get rid of it all together. The only thing it is good for is phone calls. I yanked mine when I got an Avin AVant 4 head unit and had no use for it any longer. Haven't had a parasitic drain problem since.

Weird thing I noticed, both times I had a drain problem caused by the telematic was after losing an alternator. Strange coincidence or a cause?

I don't know Andrew. My X5 has been sitting since Wednesday and it's showing 12.7 volts.
Dropping to 12.1 in just 2 days, I think there's a drain for sure...
