Liked the E53 So Much
 

Liked the E53 so much I'm researching a newer one and keeping the E53 as my back up. Getting ready to sell the Z06 Corvette and the truck for a down payment. My choices are 2012-2013 X5 M, 2012-2015 X6 M, or go with a 2014-2016 xdrive 50i with the M sports package. Washing and waxing the Corvette today and putting a for sale sign on it. The truck needs the transmission rebuilt and put back in and the new paint applied. So still a few months out from upgrading.

I love my e53. I would be looking at the same line of cars if I had the budget. I'm always keeping an eye open for the next stepping stone x5 but I'm behind you. I'd love to find an M from the early years like 04 so I can afford the upgrade

Your to far away from me but I would still love to see a pic of the vette. Wife wants a C5. We have C4 convertible now.

I'd like a new 2017 X5M but can't justify 40K - 50K for 12HP.

The 04 Z06 is the only year with the new silver color but used on the C6 also. Nothing different to much. BIG stereo system, MGW shifter, Vararam intake with Power Duct, and a mail order tune.

I keep thinking the same, either the 50i or X5M. But the 4.8is will going to my 10yo one day, and the 4.4 is my dirt beater. The money saved goes into my investment accounts, everyday. :)
