Is there any noise gain, to be had by fitting a cone air filter instead of the existing panel filter? to my 4.8is?

I have seen these fitted by removing the lid of the existing air box, or removing the existing air box completely.

I would like some induction noise but do not wish to ruin performance. The car is stock at the engine with a resonator delete.

Its not exactly what you are looking for but I installed the Dinan CAI closed box and the supplies cone filter and it made my 4.4 sound like a BEAST. I absolutely LOVED the sound
I have since upgraded my filter to a Donaldson filter and it reduced the mean growl a bit but not too much.
