Would these wheels fit E53?
Hey everyone, was searching on CL for cheap rims for winter duty, and came across this ad. 2011 535i wheels in 19". Would these fit my 4.8is offset wise?
Thanks in advance! https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/w...297552534.html |
You need to ask them what offsets the wheel are. There will be a stamping starting with ET then 2 numbers on the inside of the barrel. Let us know what they are. Also the hub bore on a F10 BMW 5 series is 72.56 which is the same as your E53 so that will work.

Those look like style 331's. Front wheels are ET33 and the rears are ET44. Compared to what a factory E53 uses (style 132 uses front ET48 and rear ET45) for 19's it's not too far off. The problem is the E53 stockers are 9" wide up front and 10" out back so it makes comparing offsets apples to apples more difficult. I'm pretty sure you'd be fine, but you might want to get spacers and extended lugs from the rear just so the fronts didn't look like they stuck out further than the rears.
You'd have to do a test fit though to be 100% sure of how it would look/fit. |

Thank you for all the help everyone, and esp Qsilver7 for the chart, very helpful!
I've seen many threads that say 18's mostly won't fit due to brake caliper clearance, only a couple styles will. Would using spacers solve this issue for the fronts? |
