It was bugging and no the Mercedes doesn't have the same setup. It was just the levers to turn off air to each vent not temperature controls.

That's weird, because both my and the Mrs e53 AC overrides the three red dots when the temp is hotter than what the climate control is set for. It doesn't work the other way.
if it's 30c (86) outside on the way home, and was only 18c (64.4) on the way to work, it will still blow cold until the cabin reaches the 22c (71.6) that the climate control is set for.

Wonder if it's because they are the"Hot Climate" versions.


My E38 doesn't and that used to annoy me on 40c (104) days, waiting for it to cool and then the "D'oh" moment.
