funny you should mention that because I just did the Tail of the dragon about a week ago with the X5.. 10/14 to be exact... awesome time and the drive was great. being on coilovers and lowered definitely helped IMO..

i would def go back, especially with a bunch of X5's cruising the TOTD..

the tail man... i was supposed attack the tail in another car but it wasnt ready for the trip, so I said, screw it, and brought the x5. 13hr trip in the X5 made it bareable..

I am game for either date...

There is a road in Pinegrove, PA that is supposed to be somewhat like the tail of the dragon and might be fun doing it with a crew of x5's..

Any interest for that?

The research I did was a quick and dirty one but rt 125 sounds about right..
