Car is 2006 X5 M54 6spMT with 125K miles.

I was looking at Flex Disc on realoem.com and there are 2 PNs listed.
Does anyone know which is the correct PN for my car?

Wow that's confusing. This is on my to-do list so I'd like to know as well.

I looked up the part numbers on a couple different parts websites and ECS Tuning gave the following compatibility information:

P/N 26117511454

Compatibility:
BMW E53 X5 M54 3.0L
BMW E53 X5 M62 4.4L
BMW E53 X5 M62 4.6L


P/N 26111229360

Compatibility:
BMW E53 X5 N62 4.4L
BMW E53 X5 N62 4.8L


Based on the ECS Tuning compatibility listings it looks like 26117511454 is the part number you should order.

Also oembimmerparts.com asks for your VIN for the order. Maybe you can email them for the correct part number or check with whoever you normally order parts from.

If you decide to do the Giubo, then I recommend that you do all 3 jobs at the same time:
1. Giubo (BMW vs SGF)
2. CSB (BMW dealer only)
3. Re-greasing the REAR CV Joint.

I did those 3 jobs in my E39 and wrote the DIY below.

NOTE: In contrast to the E39, for E53 X5, no need to remove the exhaust, just undo the rear part of the exhaust and lower that a bit (use wood or something to prop it up), just enough for you to slide the DS out.
- When greasing the REAR CV Joint, remove as much as old grease as possible, then make sure you pack grease to the "fore" portion of the CV Joint. The "fore" portion is covered by the rubber boot. This will stop the "clanking sound" when switching direction (forward to reverse) during driving.

Just got under the car, the Giubo clearly shows: "1229360".

Lesson learned, look at what you have in the car first.
